Govt extends validity of documents like major relief, license registration permits till September 30, relief to truck owners across the country
Delhi . The government has decided to extend the period of vehicle fitness and other documents to December to prevent congestion in vehicle fitness documents to control the spread of coronavirus epidemic.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has decided to extend the validity of motor vehicle fitness, permits, licences, registration and other documents by December 31. Earlier, the Ministry issued advisories on 30th March and 9th June this year to enhance the validity of documents and the validity of fitness, permits, licences, registration and other documents was made by 30th September.
The ministry said that keeping in view the prevention of proliferation of Kovid-19, the validity of these documents has been extended till 31st December. The ministry said that due to lockdown, the vehicle owners could not increase the validity of their vehicles and the concerned authority has been advised to treat such documents of motor vehicles as valid on December 31.
