Hisar, J.N.N. Gift cards were being used continuously for the last year and a half for two years. During this, fake bills worth thousands of crores will also be cut. Because all those who did this work were using these cards in transactions in every way. In such a situation, the Central GST (Goods and Services Tax) Department suspects that through these bills, how many firms or middlemen would have claimed the tax refund as well. From day one, the department has been suspecting that fake firms may have made a mess in IGST (Integrated Goods and Service Tax) by passing fake credit.

Often, IGST has to be paid for movement from one state to another. The merchant then claims a refund on the goods. In such a situation, the investigation of the department is also going on in this direction. However, it will be clear only after the fact is revealed, what other mediums were there, through which it continued to be fake.
