A magistrate’s court in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, acquitted 20 foreigners.
The people of Tabligi Jamaat were targeted all over the country including Maharashtra due to Corona. At that time the people of Jamaat were accused of negligence. Now according to the news published in Hindustan, a magistrate’s court in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, acquitted 20 foreigners. He was arrested for not disclosing that he had attended a religious function of Tablighi Jamaat in Nizamuddin, New Delhi. He was arrested in two separate cases by DN Municipal Police on April 5 for not following the advisory issued in view of Corona.
20 foreign nationals had approached the sessions court of Dindoshi against both these cases. However the Additional Chief Justice dismissed the petition of foreign nationals. He had said that his cases should be heard in another court but at the same time he ordered to complete the hearing within a month.
Let us know that the Mumbai Police had earlier issued an advisory and warning to them, in which the people attending the meeting in Delhi themselves were asked to come forward and give information. But they did not come forward. Information was received about them in the first week of April and a case was registered at DN Nagar Police Station.
He was arrested by the Mumbai Police for attempted murder. Apart from this, cases were also registered against them under the Epidemic Diseases Act, National Disaster Act, Foreign Act and Bombay Police Act.
