Bank Note: The last date for depositing or exchanging Rs 2000 note in the bank has passed. People had to deposit these notes in the bank or get them exchanged by 7 October 2023. In such a situation, now this date has passed but people still have a chance and they can get these notes changed. Actually, if any person now wants to exchange Rs 2000 notes, he will have to go to the RBI office and the notes can be exchanged there.
2000 rupee notes
Now Rs 2000 notes can neither be deposited nor exchanged in banks. If you want to exchange or deposit Rs 2000 notes now, you will have to go to the RBI office for that. Now any person can send Rs 2000 notes through post to any of the 19 offices of RBI to credit their bank accounts in India.
