Goa to Prayagraj Special Train: Devotees from all over the country are going to Prayagraj to attend the Maha Kumbh. In view of this, the Railways is continuously running special trains for the devotees. In such a situation, it is going to be easier for the people of Goa to go to Prayagraj. The Goa government has announced to run 3 special trains for Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Tuesday that the first train will leave from Madgaon Railway Station (South Goa) at 8 am on February 6. The remaining two trains will leave from Madgaon on February 13 and 21. Each train, which will run only between Goa and Prayagraj, will carry about 1,000 passengers.
Passengers will get free food
State Social Welfare Minister Subhash Fal Desai said that passengers will also be given free food during the journey. He said that the trains will reach Prayagraj after a journey of 34 hours.
The train will return after 24 hours
After reaching Prayagraj, the devotees will have to make their own arrangements for accommodation and food. The minister said that the devotees will have to catch the return train 24 hours after reaching Prayagraj.
Mukhyamantri Dev Darshan Yojana
These trains will be run under the “Mukhyamantri Dev Darshan Yojana”. People between the age of 18 and 60 years, who do not have any serious health problem, will be eligible to travel in these trains.
