Now the employees will get the same allowance as the center. The second big decision is that the transfer policy has been approved. Transfers will take place from 1 to 30 May. Ministers have been instructed to complete the process by May 30. If there are more than one thousand departmental posts, 10 percent transfers will be done. If there are more than two thousand posts, then 5 percent transfers will be done. The department can make its own transfer policy in collaboration with the General Administration Department. Madhya Pradesh-Uttar Pradesh together will build a solar plant of two thousand megawatts. The proposal was approved in the cabinet meeting.
7.30 lakh employees of the state will get the benefit of this decision of the government. Dearness allowance has been increased by 5 percent to 55 percent. This will put an additional burden of 175 crores on the government. An additional installment of 3% dearness allowance from 2024 and 2% from January 1, 2025 has also been approved for the government employees of the state. The arrears will be paid in five equal installments. It will be given from June 2025 to October 2025.
The Mohan Cabinet finally lifted the ban on transfer for the employees and officers of the state. Transfers of employees will be possible from May 1. The new transfer policy was approved in the cabinet. There is a consensus on giving the power of transfer to the departmental ministers and ministers in charge. Along with this, the proposal to set up solar energy plants has also been approved in the cabinet meeting. Uttar Pradesh will also get the electricity produced from the solar energy plant.

Sources say that the officers and employees against whom cases of corruption or misuse of position are pending will be transferred on priority basis. Apart from this, officers and employees posted at one place for three years will also be removed. The collector will prepare the list of transfers within the district. If a department has 200 employees, 20 percent, if there are up to 2000 employees, 10 percent and if there are more than this cadres, then a maximum of eight percent can be transferred.
