Locals say that there were 22 temples around Padmavati village. When the river has changed here, all the temples are submerged under water. After about 150 years, the forehead of the temple of Lord Gopinath Dev has once again appeared on the outside. After seeing the head of the temple submerged in the river, now the team of archaeologists have started collecting papers of historical heritage around the river. INTACH’s Project Coordinator Anil Dhir said that after this success, we are now searching for more temples and heritage in a radius of five kilometers around the temple.
