A CIBIL score is a three-digit numerical overview of the credit history of an individual. The credit score hinges an individual’s credit history such as purchasing and repayment patterns as issued by banks and lenders with CIBIL. A credit score varies from 300 to 900. You can either do it for free or access it by choosing a subscription service on the CIBIL website to check your credit score. You can view your current CIBIL Report once every year, using a free subscription. CIBIL provides additional benefits to its paid subscribers as per the plan chosen by him / her. So let’s take a look at the below given 6 easy steps to check your CIBIL score.
Step 1: Visit the site www.cibil.com and under the top right corner of the page click on the “Get your CIBIL Score” option.
Step 2: Now you will be redirected to the subscription page, where you need to select the ‘Free Annual CIBIL Score’ option
Step 3: Now you have to create an account for which you need to submit your email ID, name, password, ID proof (such as PAN card, Voter ID, passport, Aadhaar), date of birth, pin code, and mobile number. After entering all the required details click on ‘Accept and Continue’
Step 4: On the next page you have to verify your identity by generating an OTP on your mobile number. Enter the OTP on the required field and click on ‘Continue’
Step 5: Now you will be redirected to a new page where you will get a successfully enrolled confirmation on your device screen. To check your CIBIL score click on the ‘Go to dashboard’ option
Step 6: Now you will be redirected to myscore.cibil.com page where you can view your CIBIL Score and CIBIL Report for free
You can check your CIBIL score by visiting myscore.cibil.com and selecting ‘Member Login’ option, once your account is generated. You need to enter your email id and password to log in. In case you want to check your CIBIL score again in the same fiscal year you have to buy a subscription plan to generate your report.
