Joint Front Rejects Punjab Government’s Notification of 6th Pay Commission of Pensioners The conveners of the Employees and Pensioners Joint Front on October 29 paid 113% DA to the pensioners of Punjab from 31-12-2015.
Rejecting the notification issued with the amendment method of 15% hike on the basis of Rs. Since 2006, the central government has been taking a deficit pension from pensioners. The United Front said that the claims made by the Punjab government on October 25 in various newspapers to the tune of Rs.
This is the second major attack on pensioners by the Punjab government since 2009 to rectify the deficit after 2009 which is the result of the stubborn behavior of Manpreet Badal ‘Finance Minister’. The conveners of the United Front said that the Punjab government was being run by the Punjab Finance Minister instead of the Chief Minister Mr. Channi, for which the Congress would have to pay the price.
The United Front said that the permanent morcha at Morinda from October 16 would continue till victory and on November 3 the effigies of the Finance Minister Punjab would be blown up in all the district centers of Punjab and a big state level rally would be held on November 13 in Bathinda.
