7th CPC: Big relief to the employees in this state, pension will start from the day of retirement

7th CPC: Employees retiring now in Assam will start getting pension benefits from the day of retirement.

7th pay commission: The Assam government has made a big announcement for the retiring employees. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sarma has told that the government is making such a system, in which all the benefits of the retiring employees start getting from the day of retirement. All necessary preparations are being made for this in advance. The Chief Minister gave this information by tweeting.


Pending cases to be settled soon

The Assam Chief Minister tweeted, “The employees retiring in the state will now be able to get pension easily. The matter has been reviewed with the Directorate of Pensions. Pending matters and disbursal rates were also discussed. Pending cases of pension Orders have been given to settle it at the earliest. The Assam government is making such efforts so that the government employees start getting pension from the day they retire.

The Chief Minister tweeted, “Assam Electronic Development Corp Ltd. (AMTRON) has been asked to work closely with the Treasury Office to ease the process of starting pension. The Directorate General of Pensions plans to provide 1500 pension plans every month from now on.” to settle the matter.”

Documents to be submitted 6 months in advance

The Assam government has asked AMTRON to install a scanner in every DDO office. The assistant present here will scan and upload all the documents of the pension receiving staff. After this, the Directorate General will download it and send it for verification with digital signature. The retiring employee will have to submit all his documents six months in advance so that Pension Payment Orders (PPOs) can be issued in time at the time of his retirement. It is to be known that the retiring employees will get pension benefits as per the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission.


Let us inform, as per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, the minimum wage for the entry level newly appointed government employees has been increased from Rs 7,000 to Rs 18,000. At the same time, the minimum salary for the newly appointed Class-I officer has been increased to Rs 56,100.
