Do calculations like this

For example, suppose the basic salary is Rs 18,000 and Rs 5040 is being received as 28% dearness allowance. If this allowance is increased by 3 percent, then Rs 5580 will be available. This means that the salary of the employees will increase by Rs 540. In the same year salary will increase by Rs 6480. Similarly, those with 36000 and 56000 thousand salary will also get benefit. The basic salary of central employees is between Rs 18000 to Rs 56900, so dearness allowance will also be given accordingly. The same final math will come only after adding other allowances including HRA and the difference in salary will also be visible. You can calculate it on the basis of your basic salary.
