7th Pay Commission: 3 Good news for government employees! DA will be paid along with DA arrears and new pay system will be implemented

7th Pay Commission: The central government is planning to introduce a new pay system to replace the 8th Pay Commission. The new system will have performance-based increments, similar to those paid to private sector employees. This means that the salary hike will be based on the performance of the employees. The salary hike could be more transparent and rational.

The Aykryod formula can be implemented according to the performance of central government employees. The performance of employees will completely change with the new wage system. Benefits will be available every year based on the performance.

That is why the central government is considering introducing a new wage structure. It will be based on performance, just like private company employees. The salary increase will be based on the performance of the employees. It seems that the salary increase will be more transparent.

Over one crore central government employees and pensioners will benefit from the DA hike and pension hike. It seems that the Centre is not considering the formation of the 8th Pay Commission at this time.

Let’s see how much the salary allowances will increase if the central government increases DA by 3 percent by January 2025. If DA increases by 3 percent, the salary will increase by Rs 540 per month and Rs 6,480 per year. However, this is for those with a minimum wage of Rs 18,000. As the minimum wage increases, the salary will increase further. Similarly, for pensioners, if the minimum pension is Rs 9,000, it will increase by Rs 270 per month and if the pension is Rs 1,25,000, it will increase by Rs 3,750 per month.

As usual, this time too, the DA hike announcement for January 2025 may be in March. Even though the DA hike announcement is in March, arrears will be paid from January.

The DA for January 2025 will be determined based on the AICPI index from July 2024 to December 2024. According to the AICPI index available till now, i.e. till November, it is expected that the DA will increase by 3 percent to 56 percent.

The amount of DA is decided according to inflation and AICPI index. There is a DA increase in the months of January and July every year. That is, DA is revised twice a year.

In October last year, before Diwali, the DA of central government employees was increased by 3 percent as per the 7th Pay Commission. Now, it is to be increased again in January. Currently, the total DA is 53 percent. The announcement of the DA increase to be increased from January will be made soon.

Central government employees will soon receive a lot of good news. There will be many benefits like dearness allowance hike, DA arrears, new pay system, etc. Pensioners will also benefit immensely.
