When will the announcement of DA increase be made?

According to media reports, based on the data of AICPI IW index from January to June 2024, it has been decided that employees will get DA with an increase of 3% from July 2024. Which is after the increase of 1.5 points in the June AICPI index. According to the information, the government can increase the dearness allowance (DA) by 3%, after which it will become 53%. It has been included in the agenda of the cabinet meeting to be held on 25 September. In such a situation, the salary of an employee getting a monthly salary of Rs 50 thousand will increase by Rs 1500.

How much was DA increased in January?
