Government employees are waiting for a long time for 7th Pay Commission 18 months DA arrears (DA). Government employees are hoping that soon they will get their DA arrears. Employees are continuously demanding to withhold DA from January 2020 to June 2021. According to media reports, the government can transfer Rs 1.50 simultaneously to the bank account of DA arrears i.e. salary account.
Government employees hope that the government will consider giving DA arrears and will soon find a solution. According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, secretary (staff side) of the National Council of JCM, the council has made a demand to the government but no solution has been found so far.
Will get so much DA arrears
The DA arrears of Level 1 employees will be between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,000. At the same time, level 13 employees will get Rs 1,44,200 to 2,18,200 as DA arrears. DA and DR are given to government employees and public sector employees and pensioners. It is given to employees to help them with their living expenses.
Money will come with salary
The Joint Consultative Mechanism (JCM) will meet with the officials of the Ministry of Finance, Department of Personnel and Training and Department of Expenditure. In this, the one-time payment of DA arrears is to be discussed. There have been reports that the government can give Rs 1.50 lakh to the employees as DA arrears.
DA arrears of 18 months
Central employees-pensioners (7th Pay Commission Central Government employees-Pensioners) can get a big relief soon on the outstanding DA of 18 months. According to the latest media reports, next month on August 3, an important cabinet meeting is going to be held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi, in which a decision can be taken along with increasing the new dearness allowance and fitment factor. On DA arrears from January 2020 to June 2021. However, there is no official confirmation from the government yet.
According to media reports, a meeting of Joint Consultative Mechanism (JCM) with the officials of Ministry of Finance, Department of Personnel and Training and Department of Expenditure in this regard can be held by the end of July.
