HRA also increased

What is gratuity

According to the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, this gratuity will be given to the employee when he retires or retires or resigns.
Limit of education allowance and hostel subsidy increased
Recently, the Personnel Ministry, citing a guideline of the year 2018, said that there is a provision in the order that whenever the dearness allowance in the revised salary increases by 50 percent, the limit of children’s education allowance and hostel subsidy will naturally increase by 25 percent. The ministry said that in view of the increase in dearness allowance of central employees from January 1, 2024, information is being sought about the amount of children’s education allowance and hostel subsidy.
According to the Personnel Ministry, the amount of reimbursement of children’s education allowance, irrespective of the actual expenses incurred by the government employees, will be Rs 2,812.5 per month and hostel subsidy will be Rs 8,437.5 per month.
