7th Pay Commission: Big news! Government is going to increase one more allowance, salary hike again, know details

7th Pay Commission: Central employees are going to get good news once again. The central government can increase the salary of the employees. On the occasion of Diwali, the government, which has increased the Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief (DR) of central employees by 3 percent, can now increase a House Rent Allowance. Employees can get its benefit from January.


Proposal sent to the board for approval The

Finance Ministry has started considering the implementation of the demand to increase the House Rent Allowance (HRA) of 11.56 lakh central employees. This proposal has been sent to the Railway Board for approval. If it is approved on time, then from January 2021, the employees will start getting the increased HRA. After this there will be a tremendous increase in the salary of central employees.

In fact, the Indian Railway Technical Supervisors Association (IRTSA) and the National Federation of Railwaymen (NFIR) have demanded the implementation of HRA of employees from January 1, 2021.Accordingly, HRA is available.



Central government employees get HRA according to the category of the city in which they live. Employees living in ‘X’ category cities will now get more than Rs 5400 HRA. Similarly, the salary of employees residing in ‘Y’ category city will increase by Rs 3600 as HRA. At the same time, the HRA of those living in ‘Z’ category city will increase by Rs 1800.

Let us inform that due to increase in dearness allowance of employees, there is an increase in House Rent Allowance i.e. HRA and Transport Allowance (TA). Both these allowances come in conjunction with the salary. On the occasion of Diwali, the government has already increased the DA, TA of the employees, while they were also given Diwali bonus.
