Employees of Uttar Pradesh (UP Employees) can get DA and bonus before Diwali. After the 3 percent increase in DA (7th Pay Commission) by the Modi government of the Center, it is expected that the Yogi government of UP can increase the DA of the employees.Â
The benefit of Diwali bonus can also be given like last year. This will put a burden of about Rs 1000 crore on the exchequer. However, only after getting the final green signal from the government, the Finance Department will start the further process. This year Diwali is on 4th November, so it is expected that along with the salary of October, an order may be issued to give bonus.
In fact, in the past, the Yogi government had given the gift of freeze DA and honorarium to the employees and also announced Diwali bonus to the employees, so it is expected that before Diwali, about 15 lakh employees will get bonus. The benefit of (Diwali Bonus) can be given. The maximum amount of the bonus is estimated to be fixed at around Rs.7 thousand. According to media reports, a decision can be taken on the same DA as the center. At present, the employees are getting 28 percent DA, but after the decision of the Center, now 3 percent DA is expected to increase. If sources are to be believed, the Finance Department has also made preparations for this and is just waiting for the decision of CM Yogi Adityanath. After which the DA of the state employees will also become 31 percent.
If this happens, then the employees will get the benefit of October salary, increased dearness allowance and bonus before Diwali. The same pensioners will also get the benefit of dearness allowance, although it is not yet decided whether the government will give DA for July or Then from July to September or else the balance amount will be deposited through provident fund accounts and other savings certificates.
It is worth noting that last year, with the announcement of bonus, the government had said that 75 percent of the bonus money would be given in the Provident Fund (PF) accounts of the employees and the remaining 25 percent money would be given to the employees in cash. On the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, it was decided to pay 30 days bonus to the employees for the financial year 2019-20 and it was said on behalf of the government that the employees who do not have PF account will get 75 percent of the National Savings Certificate. (NSC). The same 31 percent DA is also likely to be given.
