Employees get family pension
Actually, central employees get the facility of family pension. In case of husband and wife being government employees in the family, the family will also be made part of the family pension under the Central Civil Services Pension 1972.
1.25 lakh maximum pension
According to rule 54(11) of Central Civil Services Pension 1972, if both husband and wife die after retirement, then their children (nominee) can get two pensions. The maximum amount of this pension will be Rs 1.25 lakh.

At the same time, there is also a rule that if the husband dies after retirement, then the wife will get the family pension. At the same time, if the wife dies, then the husband will get the pension. On the death of both the children will get family pension.
Family pension rules changed
Let us tell you that the maximum pension under the 7th Pay Commission is Rs 2.50 lakh. The rules of family pension have changed. After retiring from government service, on the death of the couple, a pension of Rs 1.25 lakh and another family pension of Rs 75,000 will be given to the nominee children.
