7th Pay Commission Latest News: CM told that the new application form is quite simple. Its purpose is that every person (beneficiary of pension) can easily present his claim before the commission.
7th Pay Commission Latest News: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday (June 3, 2022) started the work of identification of all the agitators who were involved in the movement related to the creation of a separate state (Jharkhand). Along with this, he announced that pension and other benefits ranging from Rs 3,500 to Rs 7,000 would be given to those who played any role in the movement.
In a program organized in the Secretariat for this purpose in Ranchi, CM Soren said, “The state government has resolved to give full respect and rights to each and every agitator. The agitators involved in the last line of this movement will also be identified and given their due.
According to the Chief Minister, the new application form has been made very simple so that every agitator can easily present his claim before the commission. The land of Jharkhand has given birth to many brave sons, who have sacrificed themselves for the country. The movement for a separate Jharkhand state is also no less than the freedom struggle of the country.
According to Soren, “In the initial years, only about two thousand agitators were identified. Seeing this figure, I felt that if the struggle for a separate state has been going on for such a long time, then the number of agitators cannot be so less.
He further said, “I have made a new format for the identification of Jharkhand agitators so that everyone can be listed and linked to the benefits received from the government.” According to Soren, the agitators who are in jail for less than three months will get a pension of Rs 3,500 per month and those who have spent more than six months in jail during the agitation will get Rs 7,000 per month .
On this occasion, the Chief Minister released the ‘Logo’ and ‘Application Form’ of the Movement Identification Commission, with the help of which the agitators would be re-identified and listed.
