The National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM) is likely to hold talks with central government officials in the second or third week of this month. In this conversation, the DA of the employees will be discussed. Apart from the Finance Ministry, officers of the Department of Personnel and Training will also be involved in this meeting.

3 installments pending
Three installments of DA of employees are pending with the central government, which is to be paid by the government. DA and DR of employees and pensioners of 1st January 2020, 1st July 2020 and 1st January 2021 are pending. Central employees are to be paid three DA installments from June 1, 2020, which was frozen by the central government till June 30, 2021.
how much will the salary increase
Let us tell you that employees are currently paid DA at the rate of 17 percent, which is expected to increase from 11 percent to 28 percent. This will increase their salary tremendously. At the same time, the employees are going to get the benefit of DA for two years directly, because the dearness allowance of central employees was increased by 4 percent in January 2020, then there was an increase of 3 percent in the second half i.e. June 2020, now dearness allowance in January 2021 Once again it has increased by 4 percent i.e. the total has gone up to 28 percent. This will benefit more than 50 lakh employees and 61 lakh pensioners.
