7th Pay Commission Latest News: After a long time, news is coming to make the central employees (Central Govt. Employee) happy. After getting Dearness allowance, HRA, TA and promotion, now the central employees are going to get another gift. If this happens, then in the year 2022, there will be a bumper increase in the salary of central employees.
Expected change of Rs 8000
According to the sources of the associate website Zee Business, the fitment factor of the central and state employees can be increased. Due to the increase in the fitment factor, the basic salary of the central government employees is expected to change up to Rs.8000.
Government may soon consider
Central and state government employees have been demanding for a long time to increase the fitment factor from 2.57 times to 3.68 times. Now this demand can be considered by the government. A decision in this regard is expected after July. If this happens, then a double gift can come for the employees in August.
Expected to increase by Rs 8000 in Basic Salary
If the fitment factor is decided, then the basic salary of central employees will increase directly. At present, central employees are getting salary on the basis of 2.57 fitment factor. On increasing it to 3.68, the minimum salary of the employees will be increased by 8 thousand rupees. Meaning the minimum salary of Rs 18,000 will increase to Rs 26,000.
Considering raising the fitment factor to 3 times
It is also expected that the minimum salary under 7th CPC can be increased to 3 times and not 3.68 times directly. According to the recommendation of the 7th Pay Commission, the government can increase the fitment factor by 3 times. Basic pay will increase from Rs 18,000 to Rs 21,000 if the fitment is 3 times. That is, there will be a change of Rs 3000 in that situation.
Union will meet Cabinet Secretary!
The employees union hopes that the government can consider the demand of the employees. The employees union has already met the cabinet secretary. At that time the employees were assured that the fitment factor could be considered. However, there was no thought after that. The meeting of the employees union with the cabinet secretary can be held at the end of July.
