According to media reports, according to Ashok Kumar, Under Secretary in the Government of India, the Department of Post had sent a proposal to give 120 days Productivity Linked Bonus to non-gazetted employees. But the Finance Ministry refused to accept that proposal. Now they will be given Productivity Linked Bonus Diwali Bonus for 60 days instead of 120 days.
According to the order, the Department of Posts has sent information to its regional offices that Gramin Dak Sevak, Casual Laborers, Non-Gazetted Officers of Group B, MTS and Group C employees will get Rs 7000 as bonus for 60 days. Diwali bonus. On top of this, no money will be given as Diwali Bonus.
Basic Pay, SB Allowance, Deputation (Duty) Allowance, Dearness Allowance and Training Allowance are included to extract Productivity Linked Bonus. After this the bonus amount is withdrawn on an annual basis.
Let us tell you that earlier the Central Government had announced a bonus to Indian Railways. JCM, Staff Side Officer Shiv Gopal Mishra, however, expressed disappointment over the bonus amount. According to him, the number of employees in the railways has reduced. This has increased the work load. Too much work for a single employee. Earlier, the central government has announced to give Diwali bonus to railway employees. The Union Cabinet has given Diwali bonus to all non-gazette employees of Railways. After railway employees, central employees are also waiting to get Diwali bonus. If media reports are to be believed, then Diwali bonus can come in the salary of the end of this month i.e. October.
Railway employees will be given 78 days salary as bonus. This move of the government will benefit more than 11 lakh non-gazetted employees of the Railways.
