DA hike may be announced after Holi
According to media reports, an increase in dearness allowance may be announced after Holi in March. The increased dearness allowance may come in the salary of the employees in March.
AICPI data released
All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) data for December 2021 has arrived. There has been a decrease of one point in the index for December 2021. Now the 12 month index average for DA is 351.33. Still, 34.04 percent dearness allowance is made on it.
Since the DA is calculated in the round figure, the DA of the employees is 34%. Dearness allowance is paid on the basic salary.
Know how much will increase on minimum wage
After the DA becomes 34 percent, the employees with 18 thousand basic salary will get dearness allowance of Rs 6,120. These employees are currently getting Rs 5,580 according to 31 per cent DA. That is, their monthly salary will increase by Rs 540. In this way, the annual salary is sure to increase by Rs 6,480.
There will be a big increase on the maximum salary
Central employees whose basic salary is Rs 56,900, they will get Rs 19,346 as DA after 34 percent dearness allowance. Since according to 31 percent DA, these employees are getting Rs 17,639 now. That is, his monthly salary will increase by Rs 1,707. In this way, the annual salary will increase by Rs 20,484.
