7th Pay Commission DA- DR Hike: After the central government, the state governments are also increasing the dearness allowance of their employees. After the UP government, now the Haryana government has given the gift of Diwali to the employees. Haryana government has increased the dearness allowance of its employees and pensioners from 34 percent to 38 percent. Let us tell you that the increased allowance will be applicable from July 1, 2022. That is, this month the salary will come in the account of the employees along with the arrears of 3 months. Let us know now how much money will increase in the account of the employees.
Calculation on maximum basic salary
1. Basic salary of the employee – Rs 56,900
2. New Dearness Allowance (38%) – Rs 21,622/month
3. Dearness Allowance so far (34%) – Rs 19,346/month
4. How much dearness allowance increased – 21,622-19,346 = Rs 2276/month
5. Increase in annual salary – 2276 X12 = Rs 27,312
Calculation on minimum basic salary
1. Basic salary of the employee – Rs 18,000
2. New Dearness Allowance (38%) – Rs.6840/month
3. Dearness Allowance so far (34%) – Rs.6120/month
4. How much dearness allowance increased – 6840-6120 = Rs.720/month
5. Increase in annual salary – 720 X12 = Rs 8640
Central government also increased DA
Significantly, the Central Government recently increased the DA of employees from 34 percent to 38 percent. After that, the Uttar Pradesh government also increased the rate of dearness allowance and dearness relief by 4%, giving a Diwali gift to the state employees and pensioners. This increase has also become effective from July 1. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath tweeted, ‘It has been decided to give a bonus of Rs 6,908 to each employee for the financial year 2021-22.’
On the other hand, the Jharkhand government has also approved the proposal to increase the dearness allowance for employees and pensioners by four percent. This increase will also be effective from July 1, 2022.
