7th Pay Commission: Central employees have a great chance that by taking advantage of this facility provided by the central government, they can get up to Rs 4,500.
New Delhi: Many big announcements are going to happen soon for the central employees. The Central Government can issue dearness allowance to the employees in the current month itself. Apart from this, the outstanding DA arrears of the employees can also be released in this month. Employees can also claim their Children Education Allowance in the month of March. The last date to claim it has been fixed as March 31, 2022.
They get Children Education Allowance
Children’s Education Allowance is issued to central employees for the education of their child. Under the 7th Pay Commission, children’s education allowance of Rs 2,250 is given to the central employees every month.
If the employee has two children, then they are given Rs 4,500. Children Education Allowance is given only for two children.
The condition for twins is that
if an employee has twins as a child, he can claim Children’s Education Allowance for all three of his children. Under this claim, he can claim Rs 2,250 for every child.
Self declaration will have to be submitted
Central employees will have to submit a self-declaration to get the Children’s Education Allowance. Under this, the employee will have to submit a copy of the child’s school report card / fee slip / result or any proof.
Employees can also submit fee slip or report card by SMS or e-mail as proof. However, this facility has been given to the employees only for March, 2020.
Allowance was stopped during the Corona period
In view of the outbreak of Corona epidemic in the last 2 years, the Central Government had banned the allowance of Children Education Allowance.
Now it has been restored again. Employees can make this claim before 31 March.
