7th Pay Commission: Central employees currently get salary and increment under 7th Pay Commission. The pay matrix that has been prepared in the 7th Pay Commission is based on the fitment factor. Now the question in the mind of the central employees is whether the next pay commission will come or not? What will be the formula for the government to give promotion and increase the salary?

Pay commission will end?
After the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission, the government had indicated that it can end the system of pay commission. However, no official announcement has been made about this yet. But, the government is preparing to abolish the Pay Commission.

Action will start after 2024

Former Assistant General Secretary (Assistant Secretary General) of All India Audit and Accounts Association Harishankar Tiwari told Zee Business, the system of Pay Commission has been in place for a long time. But, it is not necessary that the pay commission should be used to increase the salary. The government can also adopt a different scale for this. Any action regarding new pay commission will start after 2024.
