According to a rough estimate, the DA arrears of Level-1 employees are between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. DA of Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 is made on employees at level-13 (7th CPC basic pay scale Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900) or level-14 (pay scale). The amount of arrears will be different for different grades of employees.

DA can be 39% under 7th Pay Commission

If this happens, then the DA of government employees will increase from 34 percent to 39 percent.
Under the 7th pay commission, if the government employees have 39 percent dearness allowance (DA), then the employees will get DA of Rs 21,622. At present, the employees are getting dearness allowance of Rs 19,346 at the rate of 34 per cent. A 4% increase in DA will result in an increase of Rs 2,276 in salary. That is, the annual salary will increase by about Rs 27,312.
The government had increased the dearness allowance of central employees to 28 percent on July 1. Earlier, they were getting paid at the rate of 17 per cent. In October 2021, it was increased to 31 percent. After this, once again in March, the dearness allowance was increased by 3 percent. After which the dearness allowance is currently running at 34 percent. At the same time, there is news that there will be an increase in dearness allowance once again. And this DA can increase by 38 percent. If this happens, then once again the payment of central employees and pensioners will be done.
Big update on DA hike
There may be an announcement of a further increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) of lakhs of employees of the 7th pay commission of the Central Government, who have been waiting for the DA hike for a long time. The latest All India CPI-IW Data (AICPI DATA) for the month of May has been released which shows 5% DA growth. Whereas the AICP Index shows that the DA of the Central Government is likely to increase in the month of July.

According to the latest report, there is a possibility of dearness allowance of employees in July that the AICPI figures for May have also been released. In which 1.3 percent has increased to 129, after which a 5 percent increase in DA of central employees is believed to be fixed. At the same time, 68 lakh pensioners including 47 lakh employees will benefit from this, while an increase in the salary of the employee can be seen from 40000 to 1.5 lakh.
According to the latest media sources, there may be a 5% increase in dearness allowance in July. This means that the total DA can range between 38 to 39%. Actually, the dearness allowance of central government employees is updated twice a year, while the second is given from July to December, the first from January to June. The all-India CPI-IW rose by 1.7 points to 127.7 in April 2022, from 1.3 per cent in May to 129.
Whereas now the AICPI data for the month of May has been released by the ministry. In the press release issued by the Ministry on June 30, the index for the month of May, 2022 is being released. All India CPI-IW for May, 2022 stood at 129.0 with an increase of 1.3 points. On 1-month percentage change, it registered a growth of 1.02 per cent over the previous month, as against a growth of 0.42 per cent in the same month a year ago.
