Employees have been demanding outstanding DA arrears for a long time
If Prime Minister Narendra Modi gives a verdict in favor of the central employees on this demand, then bumper salary will come in the account of the employees. In fact, central government employees and pensioners have been demanding 18 months’ outstanding DA arrears for a very long time. Now the dam of his patience is getting broken.
According to Shiv Gopal Mishra of National Council of JCM, an amount ranging from Rs 11880 to Rs 35554 is visible in the DA arrears of Level 1 employees. Whereas for Level 13 or Level 14, an employee can be given Rs 144200 to Rs 218200. The DA of the employees was stopped only during the Corona period.
Government has not taken any decision yet
Let us inform that the employees have not received the arrears of dearness allowance from January 2020 to June 2021. At the same time, the demands of central employees have now intensified. Similarly, pensioners also appealed to the Modi government regarding their DA arrears, but no proper solution was found for it. Now there is an atmosphere of resentment among them too.
This is how DA arrears will be paid
Let us inform that the central employees whose minimum grade pay is Rs 18000 (Level-1 Basic Pay Scale range 18000 to 56900) are waiting for Rs 4320 (4 percent of 18000) × 6. Let us tell that according to the pay matrix of central employees, the minimum salary is Rs 18000, then he will get Rs 11880 as DA arrears.
A cabinet meeting was organized on 14 July 2021. In this meeting, the dearness allowance of the employees was increased by 11 percent. It has been implemented from 1st July 2021. Thus, it would not be wrong to say that if the Central Government really gave its decision in favor of the employees, then a huge amount would come in their account.
