There is a good news for the employees that the government has confirmed the date for the stalled DA Arrear, so that the employees will get arrears of more than 2 lakhs on this day. Due to which there is a wave of happiness among all the employees. Let us know on which day we will get this balance.

Good news for central employees. The date of arrears of dearness allowance has been confirmed. A decision can be taken soon on the pending dues of 18 months. The union meeting with the cabinet secretary is to be held in the month of November. However, it is difficult to say what will be the outcome of the meeting with the cabinet secretary. Recently, the Union Cabinet had approved the dearness allowance of the employees. His dearness allowance has gone up to 38 percent. This time a hike of 4 percent has been given. But, now the question is about 18 months arrears. What is the latest update on this?

Demand made from cabinet secretary

There is a lot of agitation on the dues of central employees. The arrears of Dearness Allowance (DA Arrear) from January 2020 to June 2021 is pending. Since the announcement of DA, unions of central employees are continuously demanding dearness allowance. Recently, the JCM Secretary had written a letter to the Cabinet Secretary, in which he had sought time to negotiate on the arrears and demanded that dearness allowance is the right of the employees, a decision should be taken on this. The union believes that there can be a negotiated settlement with the government on the one-time payment of the dues.

How much money are you likely to get?

The amount is huge. If the central employees get dues under the 7th Pay Commission, there will be a lot of support for them. According to Shiv Gopal Mishra of the National Council of JCM, the outstanding dues of employees at Level-1 range from Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. At the same time, an employee at Level-13 (7th CPC basic pay scale Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900) and Level-14 (pay scale) will have arrears of Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 in his hands. .

How will the calculation of Arrear be done?

The minimum grade pay of a central employee is Rs 1800 (Level-1 Basic Pay Scale range 18000 to 56900) will get Rs 4320 [{4 percent of 18000} X 6]. At the same time, those with [{4 percent of 56900}X6] will get arrears of Rs 13656. Under the 7th Pay Commission, the DA arrears of central employees from July to December 2020 on the minimum grade pay is Rs 3,240 [{3 percent of 18,000}x6]. At the same time, those with [{3 percent of Rs 56,900}x6] get Rs 10,242. If we calculate the DA arrears between January and July 2021, it will be 4,320 [{4 percent of Rs 18,000}x6]. At the same time, [{4 percent of ₹56,900}x6] will be Rs.13,656.

Payment can be made on the basis of 4320+3240+4320

Means if the minimum salary according to the pay matrix of central employees is Rs 18000, he will get Rs 11,880 as DA Arrear (Rs 4320+3240+4320). In the year 2022, in the cabinet meeting held on September 28, dearness allowance has been increased by 4 percent to 38 percent. It has been implemented from 1st July 2022. The dearness allowance of January 2020, June 2020, January 2021 was frozen due to Corona. When the ban was lifted last year, the government increased dearness allowance by 11 per cent. But, the arrears of that 18 months were not given. Now a meeting can be held on 18th November on the arrears of 18 months. If there is an agreement in this meeting, then there is a possibility of payment of arrears.
