DA Hike News: Just before Diwali, giving a big gift to the employees, this state government has announced increase in dearness allowance.


7th Pay Commission: Before the festival of Diwali, the Assam government has given a big gift to its employees and announced increase in Dearness Allowance. The government has increased the dearness allowance by 4 percent, after which now the DA of state government employees has increased to 46 percent. This decision of the government will come into effect from December 1, 2023.

Apart from this, the government has also made it clear that between July 2023 and November 2023, the outstanding payment will be given to the employees in a total of two installments. The first installment will be given in December 2023 and the second installment in April 2024.

The Chief Minister gave information by tweeting-

UP government also gave gifts to the employees-

Before this, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has also announced increase in dearness allowance while giving a gift to lakhs of employees and pensioners of the state just before Diwali. The state government has increased DA by a total of 4 percent, after which it has increased from 42 percent to 46 percent. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has given this information.

Apart from this, the UP government has also announced 30 days bonus (up to a maximum of Rs 7,000) to the state employees. This bonus will be given to all non-gadget officers, teachers, non-teaching staff and contractual employees.
