When will the 38% DA be announced?

The new dearness allowance will be announced in September 2022. Earlier there was discussion that the government can announce it in August itself. But, the central government will announce dearness allowance in next month’s cabinet meeting. However, it will be considered applicable from 1st July 2022. The payment of new DA in salary will also be available from the month of July. 2 months arrears will also be given.
How much will the salary increase?
Under the 7th Pay Commission, on the minimum basic salary of Rs 18,000, according to 38 percent, the total increase in annual dearness allowance will be Rs 6840. This means that the total dearness allowance will increase by Rs 720 per month. At the same time, on the maximum basic salary bracket of Rs 56,900, the total increase in annual dearness allowance will be Rs 27312. That means you will get Rs 2276 more than the current dearness allowance. The cabinet secretary level officers get a basic salary of Rs 56900. On adding the new dearness allowance, the total annual dearness allowance will be Rs 2 lakh 59 thousand 464.
