DA Hike will be announced
In the year 2023, the central employees are once again expecting DA Hike. Looking at the figures of inflation that have been released, it is being estimated that next year their dearness allowance can be increased by 3-4 percent. At present, DA is being given to central employees at the rate of 38 per cent. If the government hikes DA according to 4 percent, then dearness allowance will increase to 42 percent.
Demand to revise the fitment factor
Central employees have been demanding to increase the fitment factor for a long time. Explain that the basic salary of the employees is decided by the fitment factor. At present, they are being given a basic salary of Rs 18,000. There is a demand to increase it to Rs 26 thousand.
18 months DA arrears
Apart from this, a decision is also to be taken on the pending arrears of the employees for 18 months. The DA arrears of 18 months from January 2020 to June 2021 of the employees are pending due to the Kovid-19 pandemic. Actually, the government increases DA twice every year in January and July, but the government did not increase DA during this period due to Corona.
