DA increased for government employees of Gujarat
The increased dearness allowance of the employees of Gujarat government will also be considered as applicable from July 1, 2021. After this increase, the dearness allowance of the government employees and pensioners of Gujarat has increased from 17% to 28%. Meaning the dearness allowance of the central government and the state employees of Gujarat has become the same.

This increase in dearness allowance will benefit the state government officials, employees, panchayat officers, employees and pensioners. Gujarat Deputy CM Nitin Patel announced this while talking to the media. The employees of the state will get the benefit of increase in dearness allowance only from the salary of September. Patel said that 9.61 lakh state government and panchayat employees will benefit from the increase in dearness allowance. Along with this 4.5 lakh pensioners will also get its benefit.
Not only this, the Gujarat government has also cleared Non-Practice Allowance (NPA) for doctors working in government hospitals and teachers of Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS) medical colleges, as per the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission. Is.
Two months arrears will also be available
With the increase of 11% in DA, the expenditure on the exchequer will increase by Rs 378 crore every month. Gujarat Deputy CM Patel also told that DA will also come with the salary of September. July’s arrears will come along with October’s salary and August’s arrears will be available in January next year. Whereas the increased DA of September will be available with the salary of this month.
