The Central Government is going to increase the dearness allowance of the employees on the occasion of this Navratri. A formal announcement to increase DA will be made on September 28. Along with the salary of October, the increased DA will also be paid.
There will be so much increase in DA
According to the reports going on in the media and the claims of experts, it is believed that the central government is going to increase the DA by 4 percent. At present, dearness allowance is given to central employees at the rate of 34 percent. If there is an increase of 4 percent, then it will increase to 38 percent.
DA will increase based on this figure
Explain that the government uses the data of the All India Consumer Price Index to increase the dearness allowance of the employees. In the past, it had seen an increase of 0.2 points, after which it reached 129.2 points. Looking at these figures, it is being estimated that the government can increase the DA by 4 percent. Salary will increase so much
According to the 7th Pay Commission, the minimum basic salary of employees is Rs 18,000 and at the level of cabinet secretary it is Rs 56900. According to 38 percent, the total increase in annual DA on the basic salary of Rs 18000 will be Rs 6840. If calculated month by month, there will be a total increase of Rs 720 per month in dearness allowance. At the maximum basic salary bracket of Rs 56,900, the total increase in annual dearness allowance will be Rs 27,312. Those in this salary bracket will get Rs 2276 more per month as compared to 34 per cent.
