The increase in dearness allowance of employees is fixed,
first of all let us know about dearness allowance. In fact, it is clear from the data of All India Consumer Price Index i.e. AICPI that not only this year but also in January next year, dearness allowance of central employees will increase.

DA may increase by 4 percent
this year, if we talk about this year, then 4 percent increase in dearness allowance of employees is believed to be fixed. According to media reports, it can be approved in the cabinet meeting to be held on 28 September. After this, the increased dearness allowance will be applicable from July 2022.

At the same time, the July data of All India Consumer Price Index i.e. AICPI is also showing that DA will increase next year also, because the AICPI index has seen an increase of 0.7 points as compared to June.

Expected increase in fitment factor
At the same time, apart from dearness allowance, the central government can also increase the fitment factor. With the increase in the fitment factor, there will be an increase in the minimum salary of the employees. Employees have been demanding for a long time to increase the fitment factor. Right now it is 2.57 percent, which they are demanding to increase to 3.68 percent. With this increase, the minimum salary of the employees will increase from 18 thousand to 26 thousand rupees.

Expected increase till Diwali
It is being claimed in the media reports that the fitment factor may increase before Diwali or Dussehra. Explain that the basic salary of all employees is decided through the fitment factor. The fitment factor plays a big role in the salary received by the employees.
