According to the news going on in the media, the central government has made up its mind to increase the dearness allowance i.e. DA to the government employees in July. However, no increase has been made in the house rent allowance given to the employees so far. In such a situation, it is expected that in July, along with DA, the government can also make an announcement related to increasing the house rent allowance.
How much do you get HRA
Let us tell you that according to different cities, HRA is also given differently. At present, house rent allowance is available at the rate of 27 per cent, 18 per cent and 9 per cent. Let us inform that this year DA was increased by the government, but there was no increase in HRA. The house rent allowance of central employees may increase by next year i.e. 2023. A notification in this regard has already been issued by the government.
There will be an increase of three percent in the house rent allowance of the employees in the event that the DA increases from 34 percent to 50 percent. DA of employees may increase by 4 to 5 percent in July.
In such a situation, the DA can increase to 38 to 39 percent. Even after this increase, in 2022, the DA of the employees may increase even further. If this happens, then the DA figure will reach 50 percent. In such a situation, the house rent allowance of the employees will increase to 30 percent.
