7th Pay Commission: At present, employees are getting salary on the basis of 2.57 percent under fitment factor. If it is increased to 3.68 per cent, then the minimum wage of the employees will increase by Rs 8,000 per month.
New Delhi. Central Government Employees can get a gift soon. The government may soon give its approval on increasing the fitment factor. A decision on this can be taken in the cabinet meeting of the government to be held on August 3.
According to media reports, if the government approves this, then from September 1, 2022, the employees can see a big increase in the salary. The minimum basic salary of the employees will be increased from Rs 18 thousand to Rs 26 thousand. In this way, 8 thousand rupees in a month and 96 thousand rupees annually will increase in basic salary.
Salary of government employees will increase
At present, the employees are getting salary under the fitment factor on the basis of 2.57 per cent. If it is increased to 3.68 per cent, then the minimum wage of the employees will increase by Rs 8,000 per month. Let us tell you that only fitment factor is used to increase the salary of central employees. If the Modi government increases the fitment factor, then the minimum basic salary of the employees i.e. basic salary will increase.
There has been a demand to increase the fitment factor for a long time.
It is noteworthy that the central and state employees have long demanded that their fitment factor be increased from 2.57 per cent to 3.68 per cent. This means that the minimum wage of central employees will increase from Rs 18 thousand to Rs 26 thousand.
All allowances will increase
If the basic pay increases from Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000, then the salary of the employees will also increase. If your minimum salary is 18 thousand rupees, then according to the 2.57 fitment factor excluding allowances, you will get 46,260 (18000 * 2.57). If the fitment factor becomes 3.68 then your salary will be Rs 95,680 (26000*3.68).
