7th Pay Commission: Employees get good news today! 4% dearness allowance will increase again, DA will be 42%, know complete details

7th Pay Commission news: In the matter of dearness allowance, another good news has been received for the central employees. Now his dearness allowance will reach 42 percent. This is clear from the inflation data required to calculate DA. However, there is still time to increase dearness allowance.


7th Pay Commission: The morning of November 1 was good for central employees. Another good news has come for them. The dearness allowance can once again see a jump of 4 percent. These are indicative of inflation figures. Actually, there has been a tremendous increase in the data of AICPI index. However, employees will get this gift in the new year. The next DA Hike is to be held in January 2023. But, inflation figures for industrial workers are indicating that 4 percent increase is certain. Experts are also agreeing that looking at the current situation, it seems that there will be an increase of only 4 percent. But, inflation will still have to be monitored. RBI is constantly trying to control inflation.

DA will increase by 4 percent to 42 percent

Central employees will get the gift of dearness allowance next year. This will be applicable from January 2023. But, it will be announced around Holi in March 2023. With a jump of 4 per cent, dearness allowance will reach 42 per cent. There will be a total increase of Rs 720 per month on the minimum basic salary. At the same time, Rs 2276 per month will increase for the maximum salary range. Actually, the Labor Ministry has released the figures of All India Consumer Price Index- Industrial workers (AICPI). In September, this figure has been at 131.2. The AICPI index has gained a total of 2.1 per cent till September 2022 as compared to June. In comparison to August last month, there has been a jump of 1.1 percent.

The number will be counted for the second half

The AICPI index numbers will count for the second half. Based on the data till December 2022, there will be an increase in dearness allowance in January 2023. New dearness allowance is applicable from January every year. But, it is announced in March. DA is revised every 6 months. The first applies in January and the second in July. There was a jump of 4% in DA for July 2022 from the data till June 2022. At present, dearness allowance is being received at the rate of 38 percent. Its calculation is done in percentage by taking Basic Pay as the basis.

The minimum salary in the salary range of central employees is Rs 18,000. If you calculate on this then…

2. New dearness allowance (42%) Rs 7560/month
3. Dearness allowance so far (38%) Rs 6840/month
4. How much dearness allowance increased by 7560-6840 = Rs 720/month
5. Increase in annual salary 720X12 = Rs 8640

Calculation on maximum basic salary Rs 56900 on 42% dearness allowance

1. Basic salary of the employee Rs 56900
2. New dearness allowance (42%) Rs 23898 / month
3. Dearness allowance so far (38%) Rs 21622 / month
4. How much dearness allowance increased 23898-21622 = Rs 2276 / month
5. Increase in annual salary 2276X12 = Rs 27312

Note: This is an estimate based salary, only after adding allowances like HRA, the final salary will be made.
