7th Pay Commission: The Central Government has revised the leave rules for eligible members of All India Services (AIS). Under this, now these employees can go on Paid Leave for two years during their entire career. The government is giving this leave for a maximum of 2 years to take care of two older children.

The government revised the rules-

The Department of Personnel and Training has recently issued a new notification. The new notification has been issued on 28 July. Under this, the Central Government, in consultation with the State Governments, has revised the All India Services Child Leave Rules, 1995. AIS employees are paid as per the 7th Pay Commission.

730 days leave to take care of 2 children

A female or male member of the All India Service (AIS) will be given 730 days leave during the entire service to take care of the two eldest children. This leave can be granted before the completion of 18 years on the grounds of taking care of the child, education, illness and so on.

Will get money during vacation

Under Child Care Leave, the member will be paid 100% salary for the first 365 days of leave during the entire service. On the other hand, 80 percent of the salary will be paid on the second 365 days leave.

Only three holidays in the calendar-

The government does not grant more than three holidays during a calendar year. On the other hand, in the case of a single woman, the leave is approved 6 times during the calendar year. At least five days leave is given at a time under Children Care Leave.

A separate account for holidays

According to the notification, the Children Leave Account will not be clubbed with other leaves. Under this, there will be a separate account, which will be given separately to the members. During the probation period, the employees will not get the benefit of children leave care.
