The figures till May have been released by the AICPI Index. It has seen a one digit increase again, due to which DA is likely to increase by 6%. 47 lakh employees and 68 lakh pensioners will get its benefit.
According to the May data of the AICPI Index, the all-India CPI-IW stood at 129.0 with an increase of 1.3 points, so the dearness allowance in July is expected to increase by about 5-6%. had also increased. Although the figures for June are yet to come, after this the picture will be clear that how much DA will increase in July-August. If this figure increases in June, then there can be a big increase in DA and if it does not increase then DA can increase by 6 percent. The dearness allowance figure for June 30 will come on July 31.
If media reports are to be believed, there may be a 6 percent increase in dearness allowance (DR) of central employees and dearness relief (DR) of pensioners in July. If the DA is increased by 6 percent, then the DA will increase to 40% and the salary of the employees will increase by up to Rs 41000. If the minimum basic pay is Rs 18,000 then the total increase in annual dearness allowance at the rate of 40% will be Rs 12960 i.e. Rs 1080 every month. If the same maximum basic pay is seen at Rs 56900, then the total increase in annual DA will be Rs 40968.
