7th Pay Commission: The month of September has started bringing good luck to the central employees. Before the increase in dearness allowance, the government has given them the gift of promotion. Actually, the Defense Ministry has decided to give promotion to its subordinate employees.
The Defense Ministry has issued a notification making major changes in the rules related to promotion of its subordinate employees. In this, information is given about the new criteria of promotion. In this, criteria for promotion of employees and officers have been fixed according to every level.
According to the latest notification of Service for Promotion, 3 years of experience for Level 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 employees, 8 years of experience for Level 2 to 4, and 5 years of experience for Level 3 to 4. On the other hand, the experience basis for employees up to level 17 has been fixed at 1 year and for level 6 to 11, the experience has been fixed at 12 years. On the basis of this, promotions will be given to the employees working in the Defense Ministry.
Meanwhile, it is expected that in the Union Cabinet meeting to be held on September 27, the government may give a gift of increase in dearness allowance and dearness relief to central employees and pensioners. This year in 2023, the government will announce increase in dearness allowance for the second time.
Before this, the Central Government increased the dearness allowance of central employees by four percent before Holi. Looking at the inflation figures, this time again a four percent increase in dearness allowance is expected. The increased dearness allowance will be considered applicable from July 1, 2023.
