If the government pays the arrears of DA together, then the employees will get the benefit of up to two lakh rupees. The DA arrears of Level-1 employees ranges from Rs 11880 to Rs 37554. At the same time, the arrears of Level-13 and Level-14 employees are sitting in the range of Rs 1.44 lakh to Rs 2.18 lakh.

Likely to talk to cabinet secretary soon

Discussions have taken place between the National Council of JCM, Department of Personnel and Training and the Ministry of Finance. However, no concrete answer has come on this yet. JCM says that talks are going on with the government. It is expected that soon this matter can be discussed with the Cabinet Secretary.

Waiting for PM Modi to give green signal

A demand has been placed on behalf of JCM that while taking the decision on DA, the outstanding DA arrears of 18 months should also be settled in a lump sum. If PM Modi gives green signal to it, then a huge amount is expected to come in the account of the employees this year.
