There is good news for the government employees and pensioners of Jharkhand. The Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has decided to increase the dearness allowance by three percent for the employees and pensioners. The special thing is that this increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for these employees and pensioners will be applicable from July 1 this year.
A big decision has been taken regarding government employees and pensioners in the cabinet meeting of Jharkhand government chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren today. In this, the DA of all the employees and pensioners getting salary under the fifth, sixth and seventh pay commission of the state government has been increased by 3 percent.
In a release issued by the state government after the cabinet meeting of the Jharkhand government, it has been informed that the approval has been given to increase the rates of dearness allowance by three percent from July 1 in the pay scales of the pensioners and employees of the state government. That is, now the rate of dearness allowance has been increased from 28 percent to 31 percent. Under this, dearness allowance for employees has been increased from 28 percent of basic pay to 31 percent with effect from July 1, 2021.
