Labor Minister Bhupendra Yadav has announced this. Its benefit will be available from 1 October 2021.
Big hike in variable dearness allowance
According to the Union Ministry of Labor & Employment, the increment in the variable dearness allowance of central employees will be applicable from October 1, 2021. Under this, now all central employees will get Variable Dearness Allowance (Variable DA) every month.

Minimum wage will also increase

After increasing 28 per cent from the earlier 17 per cent, the 3% DA hike has increased the total DA to 31 per cent.
