Actually, this time the Modi government is going to announce the promotion of some employees along with the increase in Dearness Allowance of central employees. It is being told that the government has accepted the request for promotion made by some Central Government Employees. According to the government order, the officers of the Indian Railways have been promoted under the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission.
Whose salary will be how much?
The salary of central employees will increase from Rs 25,350 to Rs 29,500 after this promotion. According to the order of the government, the officers of Railway Board Secretariat Service (RBSS), Railway Board Secretariat Stenographer Service (RBSSS) were to be promoted this year. These officers have been promoted as Under Secretaries/Deputy Secretaries. According to sources, with the promotion, their salary will increase by about Rs 15,000 per month. It is being told that the employees whose basic salary is Rs 67,700, their salary will increase to Rs 78,800 per month.
When will the promotion order be issued?
With the increase in basic salary, there will be an increase in Dearness Allowance (DA), Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance (HRA) and other allowances. The salary band will fall under Category III, which is as per the 7th Pay Matrix. The Personnel Department of the Central Government will issue an order for promotion of railway officers after taking approval from President Ram Nath Kovind. Let us inform that in July 2021, the Center had increased the dearness allowance from 17 percent to 28 percent and the house rent allowance from 24 percent to 27 percent. Now dearness allowance of central employees will again increase by 3 percent. This will increase it to 31 percent.
