At the same time, the maximum benefit of this increase will be given to the employees getting basic salary from Rs.3500 to Rs.9500. It is to be known that in view of the Corona epidemic, the dearness allowance from January 2020 to June 2021 was frozen by the government. However, the dearness allowance, which has been frozen since July 1, 2021, has been restored. After which the dearness allowance of central employees has increased to 31 percent from July 2021.
In this case, Jai Kumar, Deputy Director of HRMS Indian Railway, says that the benefit of Dearness Allowance restored to the employee has been given. Along with this, other remaining departments will also be given its benefit soon. According to the approval of the government, employees who retired between January 1, 2020 and June 30, 2020, will be given the benefit of gratuity and encashment of leave at the rate of 21 percent dearness allowance.
Apart from this, gratuity and live-encashment will be provided at the rate of 24 percent to the employees who retired from 1st July 2020 to 31st December 2020, while the employees retired between 1st January 2021 to 30th June 2021 will be provided retirement gratuity and leave at the rate of 28 percent. encashment will be paid.
DA expert HS Tiwari in the matter said that the government has decided that according to the 2007 pay scale, employees retiring between October and June will be provided 165.4%, 171.7% and 170.5 percent. At the same time, DA has been fixed at the rate of 348.1%, 358.7%, 356.7% for retired employees on the basis of 1997 pay scale.
