The All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (AI CPI-IW) has increased to 123 in August 2021. September figures are due. But, based on the data for June, July and August, the dearness allowance (DA Hike) has been increased.
Salary will increase by Rs 7500 at cabinet secretary level
According to JCM Secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra, this is great news for the central employees. This gift will be of great benefit to them before Diwali. For an employee whose basic salary is Rs 30,000 per month, then his salary will increase by Rs 900 per month. He will get a profit of Rs 10,800 annually. The salary of cabinet secretary level officers will increase by Rs 7500 per month. The basic salary at this rank is the highest at Rs 2.5 lakh per month. In such a situation, they will get a benefit of 90 thousand rupees annually.
Dearness allowance formula
Percentage of Dearness Allowance = Average of CPI for the last 12 months – 115.76. Now the amount that comes will be divided by 115.76. The score that will come will be multiplied by 100.
