In order to please the employees in the election year, the state government can also take a decision on this soon. Bonus has been given to the employees on the occasion of Diwali. Therefore, the employees are hoping that along with the bonus, they will also be able to get increased DA. It is believed that the employees will have a hefty amount in their pockets in the form of salary, increased DA and bonus before Diwali, due to which a sharp jump is expected in the market.
The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is currently paying DA to the state employees at the rate of 28 percent of the basic salary. With the increase in DA of three percent, it will become 31 percent. According to sources, the government is waiting for the central government to issue an order to increase the DA of central employees by three percent. Action will be taken to increase DA after getting the order.
According to information received from the sources, the Finance Department has prepared a file to give bonus to non-gazetted state employees, daily wage earners and work-charged employees. Now only the order of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is awaited. With this, the circular of the Central Government is awaited to prepare the file of DA. Once the DA increase circular is uploaded, its file will be ready in UP also. By Monday or Tuesday, the state government can also announce DA and bonus.
State employees will get the benefit of Dearness Allowance (DA) for the month of July from July itself. The government will decide whether to give the amount from July to September in the form of arrears or through provident fund accounts and other savings certificates. Along with this, dearness relief (DR) for pensioners is also expected to be announced.
