7th Pay Commission: Good news to Central employees, Apart from salary, you will get around Rs 53000, see your calculation here

New Delhi:  Dhanteras Is On 2nd November And Diwali Is On 4th November. This Year Diwali Is Going To Be Bang For Central Employees. Before Dhanteras And Diwali, Central Employees Will Not Only Get Seven Pays Of Dearness Allowance (DA) And Dearness Relief (DR) At The Rate Of 31 Per Cent, But They Will Also Get Three Months’ Arrears. Central Employees Will Get DA Arrears Of Rs 52,917 Along With The Salary. This Will Directly Benefit More Than 47 Lakh Employees And 68.62 Lakh Pensioners.



In Fact, The Central Government Has Already Announced To Increase Dearness Allowance And Dearness Relief By 3 Percent In October. After This Hike, The DA-DR Of Central Employees And Pensioners Has Increased From 28 Per Cent To 31 Per Cent. That Is, From October Salary, They Will Get This Dearness Allowance At The Rate Of 31 Percent. Not Only This, The Increase In Dearness Allowance Has Been Implemented From July 1.

That Is, Central Employees And Pensioners Will Get Money At The Rate Of 31 Percent From July 1, 2021. Means Central Employees Will Also Get Arrears For July, August, September (3 Months). With The Increased Salary, Their Arrears Will Also Be Paid In Full In October Salary. Meaning Before Diwali, The Central Employees And Pensioners Will Get All The Money In One Lump Sum.

The Basic Salary Of Central Employees Ranges Between Rs 18000 To Rs 56900. If The New Dearness Allowance Of 31 Percent Is Calculated On The Maximum Basic Salary Of Rs 56900, Then The DA Of Rs 17639 Per Month Is Made. At The Same Time, The Payment That Has Been Made So Far Has Been Made At The Rate Of 28 Percent To Rs 15932 A Month. Means The Total Dearness Allowance Has Increased By Rs 1707 Per Month In The DA Of The Employees.

On An Annual Basis, This Increase Will Be Rs 20,484. 3 Months Arrears To Be Received In The Month Of October. In Such A Situation, If The Calculation Is Done, Then An Employee Will Also Get Arrears Of Rs 52917. On Receiving The Increased DA For The Month Of October, This Amount DA Will Be Rs 70556.

According To The 7th Pay Commission Matrix, The Salary Range Of Level-1 Of Central Employees Ranges From Rs 18,000 To Rs 56900. Now On The Basic Salary Of Rs 18,000, The Total Annual Dearness Allowance Will Be Rs 66,960. But Talking About The Difference, The Annual Increase In Salary Will Be Rs 30,240.


Calculation On Minimum Basic Salary

  • Basic Salary Of Employee Rs 18,000
  • New Dearness Allowance (31%) Rs.5580/Month
  • Dearness Allowance Till Date (17%) Rs.3060/Month
  • How Much Dearness Allowance Increased 5580-3060 = Rs.2520/Month
  • Annual Salary Increase 2520X12 = Rs 30,240

Calculation On Maximum Basic Salary

  • Basic Salary Of Employee Rs 56900
  • New Dearness Allowance (31%) Rs 17639/Month
  • Dearness Allowance Till Date (17%) Rs.9673/Month
  • By How Much Dearness Allowance Increased 17639-9673 = Rs 7966 / Month
  • Annual Salary Increase 7966X12 = Rs 95,592

Arrears Will Also Be Available With 31 Percent DA

These Hikes In DA And DA Have Been Implemented From July 1. Meaning The Central Worker Will Get 31 Percent DA Money From July 1. That Is, Money For 3 Months Arrears Will Also Be Given To Them. In The Month Of July, August, September, Money Has Been Received At The Rate Of 28 Per Cent. At The Same Time, Now Money Will Come In October Salary With 31 Percent DA And 3 Months Arrears Will Also Be Paid. This Decision Of The Central Government Will Directly Benefit 47.14 Lakh Employees And 68.62 Lakh Pensioners.
