Even before Diwali, the Central Government has given the gift of DA Hike to the employees working inside it. Now the government is going to give another big gift to the employees. Along with the 4 percent DA hike, the central government has also increased the variable dearness allowance to the employees.
Those with minimum salary will get benefit
Central employees have got the benefit of increased dearness allowance and arrears of 4 percent in September salary. At the same time, now the Central Government has also increased the variable dearness allowance given to other employees i.e. Minimum Wage Employees. The Ministry of Labor has announced this. Its benefit will be available from 1 October 2022.
Variable dearness allowance increased for agriculture employees
The Union Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India has announced an increase in the Variable Dearness Allowance for Central Employees (Agriculture). Now these central employees will get variable dearness allowance every month. This increase in the variable will be applicable from October 1, 2022. With this increase, the minimum wage of the employees working in agriculture will increase.
Ministry of Labor issued notification
According to the news published in Zee Business Hindi, a notification has been issued in this regard by the Chief Labor Commissioner, Ministry of Labor. In this, there is an announcement to increase the variable dearness allowance. It is written in the notification that keeping in view the notification dated 19 January 2017 of the Central Government, the Ministry of Labor has increased the variable dearness allowance. The average consumer price index of industrial workers has jumped. The index has risen from 357.65 to 365.76 points (Base Year 2016-100) as of 30 June 2022. It has increased by 8.11 points. Therefore, from October 1, the revised Variable Dearness Allowance will be paid.
